The work in the abstract should not be presented nor appear in another format at any international English-speaking meeting before the ASPA 2023.
The work should not be published before ASPA 2023, in whole or in abstract, in an indexed journal.
Your presentation will be unbiased, based on the best available evidence and all elements of the presentation will be free from the control of commercial interests.
The author(s) must transfer, assign, and otherwise convey copyright of ownership in said work to the ASPA 2023. This copyright assignment applies only to the abstract submitted and does not apply to, or prevent, subsequent publication elsewhere of a full manuscript relating to the subject matter of such abstract.
If the abstract is accepted, the author commits to present the work at the upcoming ASPA 2023. Presenters of accepted abstracts must pre-register for the physical/virtual conference before 9 June 2023 or the abstract will be removed from the Abstract Book, and will be rejected for presentation at ASPA 2023.
Abstract Submission Guidelines
Please read the following important information and guidelines before submitting an abstract. Failure to follow these guidelines may result in your abstract being rejected.
All abstracts submitted must adhere to the Declaration of Helsinki's ethical principles for medical research involving human subjects and the rules laid down by the International Committee of
Medical Journal Editors in their Recommendations for the conduct, reporting, editing, and publication of scholarly work in medical journals.
Abstracts can only be submitted online through the dedicated submission platform no later than the deadline. Abstracts submitted by mail, fax, or email will not be accepted.
All information can be edited until the submission deadline via "Modification" by entering your email. Submissions are not to be completed or changed by other parties on the author's behalf.
All abstracts must be submitted in English and should include: - Background - Methods - Results - Discussion
For case reports, the structure should be: - Background - Case description - Discussion
Abstracts cannot exceed a limit of 2500 characters, including spaces, and must be in plain text. Title, authors, and affiliations are not counted in the 2500 characters limit.
Up to six authors maximum for an abstract is allowed. The authors will be published in the same order as submitted.
Up to two supplemental files (e.g., tables, figures, or other graphics) for an abstract are allowed.
Any spelling, grammar, or scientific fact errors will be reproduced as typed by the author.
Use a standard font like Arial when formatting your text. This will help prevent special characters from getting lost when copying your text to the online abstract submission form. Avoid full sentences in capital letters, including in the title.
You can submit a maximum of two abstracts. Please consider that if you submit more than one abstract as a presenting author and your abstracts are selected for presentation, there may be a schedule conflict (presentations may overlap).
Authors will be notified of the acceptance/rejection of their abstract by email by 15 May 2023.
ASPA 2023 reserves the right to withdraw an abstract at any time.
If a change in presenting author must be made after submitting the abstract, ASPA 2023 must be notified in writing as soon as possible.
If a submitted abstract must be withdrawn, a written withdrawal request must be submitted to the ASPA 2023 Secretariat by email originating from the presenter's email address.
